Our Story

Stagecoach RV Park has deep roots in Saint Augustine, beginning in the late 1940s when Charles Usina purchased this land as a young farmer with big dreams. He started out growing cabbage, corn, and potatoes, eventually focusing on potatoes exclusively—supplying none other than Lay’s Potato Chips. In the 1970s, Charles shifted to raising beef cattle, a venture he continued through 1995. But his love for the land and community didn’t stop there. Inspired by his desire to share his hometown with travelers, Charles began building a campground in the early 1980s, officially opening Stagecoach RV Park in 1985. Now, three generations later, our family proudly carries on his vision. We take pride in our campground’s appearance and the warm welcome we offer, and we hope you experience the same sense of belonging and appreciation for this city that Charles felt all those years ago.

Being born the same year Stagecoach RV Park opened, I had the great fortune of growing up around the family business. It's a privilege to continue my grandfather’s legacy, and I take great pride in seeing the campground grow and hearing positive feedback from our guests. A few years ago, my wife joined our team, making this truly a family effort. We love being here for our campers and sharing both our town and the dream my grandfather started.

I’d love to hear about your time with us and what you enjoyed most during your stay. Your feedback helps us improve the park and shapes the recommendations we share with future guests. Please don’t hesitate to send me your thoughts!
